About me

My name is Maddy Caspar and I am a student Sierra College and Cosumnes River College. I plan on transferring to a 4 or 5 year program for a degree in Architecture. I graduated a semester early from Del Campo High School and have been working, practicing golf, and attending community college classes since 2023. I was on Sierra Women’s Golf team for the last 2 years (one year red shirting) and will play again this fall. I helped as an assistant coach for Del Campo High School girl’s golf last year and it helped me with personal growth. Helping other young girls grow in the sport I love has taught me valuable leadership and communication skills that I can apply to a working situation. I have taken many art classes that encourage creativity while also teaching the fundamentals of design and color theory that will help in future design projects. I have been taking architecture classes this Spring semester to prepare for transferring next year. It has taught me many things about the history of architecture, the basics of the profession and requirements to get licensed, and the fundamentals of designing and drafting residential housing on AutoCAD. The AutoCAD skills are what I was most excited to learn and continue to grow my knowledge in.
